This 18th-century house, transformed into a posthouse by BONAPARTE, is hidden near a forest on the edge of the JURA plateau, overlooking kilometres of plains.
This delightful family-run posting inn is perched on the very edge of a precipice, surrounded by meadows and woodland in which the owners sometimes see chamoix... I appreciated the warmth and quality of the family's hospitality, which-with the simple excellence of the food and the traditionnal furnihing-reminded me of a France , I had known years ago, before designer decor, modern glitter and passing fashions in food obliterated many of the differences between country hotels.
